Grand Canyon Outdoor Photography.

No place is like the Grand Canyon. Remember its beauty through these images.

When I think about past backpacking trips in the Grand Canyon, I conjure mental images of waterfalls, creeks, and intimate side canyons where perennial streams nurture lush oases in the desert. I remember wildflowers carpeting the ground for as far as the eye can see. I recall campsites on beaches by the Colorado River and on promontories overlooking a huge expanse of the canyon.

And I naturally picture the ubiquitous vistas stretching for miles in every direction, where immense stone monoliths tower thousands of feet above an unfathomably vertiginous, stark, and complex landscape.

But I don’t have to rely on conjuring mental images of the canyon, thanks to my many photos from that magical place.

And with any of the images below hanging on your walls, you’ll enjoy regular reminders of your days on the trails in the Grand Canyon.
