Sawtooth Mountains Outdoor Photography

Images that will preserve your memories of Idaho’s unforgettable Sawtooths.

Since moving to Idaho in 1998, I have backpacked, dayhiked, and scrambled peaks throughout Idaho’s most-famous mountain range, the Sawtooths, amassing many miles, seeing many mountain lakes and passes—and taking countless photographs. For years, as I kept visiting new (to me) areas and lakes in these mountains, I kept thinking, “This is the new most beautiful spot I’ve seen in the Sawtooths.”

These jagged, granite peaks and lovely mountain lakes can have that impact on you.

For many people I know and readers of this blog, the Sawtooths were love at first sight. The photos below represent the best images I have captured of the much-beloved Sawtooth Mountains. Whether these are places you have seen personally or simply spark a personal memory of your time there, I think they will bring you as much joy as they do me when I look at them on my walls at home.

Purchase one or more of the photos below and hang a memory from the Sawtooths where you can look at it every day.
